Library of Congress Classification (LOC) system defines how Nursing materials are put on shelves; You may search Worldcat using LOC classifications and or key words

When searching nursing databases such as Cinahl and Proquest, or CREDO, you can narrow your search results by applying filters such as data range, language, or by material type.

Another method of search is to filter search results using Medical Subject Headings (MESH).  MeSH is the National Library of Medicine's controlled vocabulary thesaurus and is used to group documents in PubMed.. It consists of sets of related terms or  naming descriptors in a hierarchical structure that permits searching at various levels of specificity.  These subject terms can also be used in WORLDCAT

Pub Med is the public online library published by the National Library of Medicine, You may search pubmed for Nursing Journal articles and then find the article within our LOUIS system:
